  1. Short:    Cadaver Disk Patcher for 68020+ users V1.1

  6. Finally I succeeded in patching this GREAT game from
  7. the Bitmap Brothers.
  8. With a cpu greater than a 68000, it crashes just before
  9. entering in the game, after level-loading.
  10. It took me 2 days but I fixed it.
  11. Thanx to Action Replay Software version for A1200/A4000.

  13. How to patch your cadaver disks:
  14.  
  15. You only have to patch the first disk (game disk):
  16.  
  17. Make a backup copy of the disk (fortunately, it's not
  18. copy protected, only disk 2 has got a special track).
  19.  
  20. Insert disk to be patched in DF0: (write UNPROTECTED)
  21.  
  22. Type 'cadpatch' in the CLI or click on the 'cadpatch'
  23. ugly icon.
  24. Type RETURN at the cadpatch prompt and your disk will
  25. be patched.

  27. The first version of the patcher had some trouble with
  28. floppies, did not detect a disk not inserted or write
  29. protected. I fixed this, and that should work.

  31. The patch should only
  32. be used ONCE. After that you'll be able to play
  33. Cadaver and Cadaver The Payoff on your upgraded amiga.
  34. I tested it with the following configurations:
  35.  
  36. A500/68000/512K chip (it worked before the patch :-))
  37. A1200/68020/NoFast
  38. A1200/68060/16Mb Fast
  39.

  41. report with your detailled configuration (CPU, Mem)
